fixation: bioderma sensibio h20 cleanser

I'd been hearing the buzz about this culty Bioderma product for a while now: supposedly models rely on its super-gentle, non-drying formula to remove their makeup between runway shows. So, since I was in the market for a new eye makeup remover, I decided to give it a whirl. If it's good enough for supermodels, that's good enough for me, I thought. A little background: Bioderma is a French brand, and part of a growing roster of products made specifically for hyper-sensitive and intolerant skin. The Sensibio H20 Cleanser is no exception – it's soap-free, and said to cleanse without disrupting the skin's natural pH balance. I used it all over my face to remove my makeup at the end of the day and loved its one-step cleansing power; it's no-rinse, so you just swipe your face with a cotton pad and it removes both face and eye makeup in one fell swoop. What I loved most about it? It's not oily! Some eye makeup removers claim they're oil-free, but still have that greasy feel; Sensibio feels clean, but not irritating or drying - almost like you're using a high-powered water to clean your skin. One caveat: even though it's super-gentle, I'd recommend trying not to get it in your eyes as you cleanse, since it can be a bit stinging. Overall though, this stuff is a winner.

this is one of the products i LOVE the most. cannot live without! i've been using it now for about 4 years. i don't leave France without buying at least 2 bottles.

it is especially excellent for the winter: skin is already tight, no need to irritate it.

and i do use it all over to remove any make-up if i am too tired to wash my face.

greendress - you nailed it right there - the idea that you can use it to remove makeup when you're tired or feeling too lazy to remove makeup. unlike those ready-made makeup wipes in the dispenser, this stuff doesn't irritate at all or have a harsh florally scent. love it!
