Hold on to your smokey-eye kits ladies, because our beloved attention-getting makeup look isn't going anywhere. In fact, it's even stronger than before, but this time, done in shades of indigo blue. Seen at Karl Lagerfeld's fall '08 show at Paris Fashion Week, this smoked-up look was paired with tons of black lashes and flawless skin with sculpted, soft-pink cheeks. Meanwhile, a mere whisper of matte, nude color on the lips ensures it's the eyes that do the talking. And even though the smokey eye is now a bonafide classic look, I think it still looks edgy and modern.

I love the model's hair and her skin is impossibly perfect. I hate her just a smidge.
Lydia - I kind of hate this girl too. she also has amazing bone structure and that cool short haircut totally plays it up. poor thing, hey? ;)
I love the smokey eye, especially when done in classy grey. Definitely still a Do.
