I'm not entirely sure how I feel about Katie Holmes current matronly-ish 'do; it seems partly inspired by her little toddler Suri, and partly by the Devil herself, Vogue editrix Anna Wintour. But while I'm kind of having a love/hate relationship with her ever-changing hair, I must admit that I'm loving her naturally-glam makeup choices of late, especially her look at the premiere of Mad Money. That said, I'm introducing a new feature on SugarShock called What's She Wearing?, where I'll give a play-by-play of products you can use to get the celeb beauty look. To get Mrs. Cruise's look, start with a perfect canvas: use a good base such as MAC Studio Fix Foundation (a powder and foundation in one) all over your face for a flawless matte finish. Next, sweep on a pinky-brown blush such as Bobbi Brown Blush in Tawny from the apples of your cheeks up to the hairline. Follow it up by rimming your top and bottom eyelids with a steely-grey eyeliner pencil such as Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Smokey Quartz. Add a hint of shimmery-white shadow such as Nars Single Eyeshadow in Tibet in the inner corners of the eyes to make them pop. Line and fill in the lips with a peachy-brown lipliner such as MAC Spice and layer that with a nude, glimmery gloss such as Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Champagne. Finish with two coats of black mascara on the top lashes only. And voila, you're fresh-faced and glamorous!
