While it seems like a lot of looks for Fall '08 have been recycled from last fall - think: the smokey eye, red lip, and even this gilded eye, recently seen at Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week – there's usually an interesting little twist to make them feel fresh and new. Last fall, we saw full-on bronzey eyes (almost a smokey eye done in shades of coppery bronze), but this one, done in yellowy-gold shadows, is pure goldeneye. To fit the warmer palette, cheeks are swiped with a browny-peach, while the lips get this amazing matte, brick-red. I'm not sure this would work for me, since I'm more of a cool-tone gal, but I'm still loving it.
