Now, usually I try to stay out of celebrity business during the week – (outside of my weekly celeb beauty picks) – as I feel there's more than enough celeb muck-raking out there. But as news came out today that Rachel Bilson will be designing a line of jeans for DKNY, I was again faced with those ubiquitous pics of a banged-Bilson. I know I kind of missed the boat on this one (she got those bangs at the end of February), and lord knows I love Rachel, but I'm not loving this look on her. I feel like those bangs swallow up her pretty little face like some big, 1970s bear rug. She looks a bit like a younger Elle McPherson – who also recently got bangs – and who also does not wear them well, in my opinion.

Yes, sayeth I, for the following reasons:
1) They are entirely too thick.
2) They are entirely too long. She looks like she can't see!
They may look better if they were a bit shorter and wispier. As is, they are too harsh/too much. Like you said - where's her face?

I agree. I think Nichole's sideswept bangs have ruined me forever in terms of other bangs.
They completely overwhelm her. Plus her colour is a little weird right now, making the whole thing even worse.
I totally agree! She looks like her face is being swallowed by her hair - and she does have a pretty face, she shouldn't let a brown, hairy rectangle on her forehead hide it!

She totally needs bigger boobs for all that hair!! And she's not that kind of girl! So sad, she usually looks sooooo great!
