Say what you will about Amy Winehouse's look (that she verges on tranny, hot mess, whatever....), there's no question the fashion world is smitten. If it weren't enough that she's launching her own beauty line (yes, it's true), fall fashion runways were peppered with looks inspired by the neo-soul singer: from big bouffant hair at Dior, to the winged eyeliner at Comme Des Garcons. (Not to mention, she's supposedly Karl Lagerfeld's latest muse).
And no one can rock the black eyeliner quite like Amy. While I wouldn't recommend going all crazy-like with eyeliner up to the temples, a subtle winged look is still ever-so-chic. My pick of the moment is Stila's new Liquid Eyeliner. It's a black-marker-like liner with a pointy tip that gives a perfectly precise line. I also love that it's short and stubby, which makes it easily maneuverable, and not unwieldy like some long-ish eyeliners. Give yourself a perfect flick of liner and then get thyself to rehab. Stat.

It really looks easy to apply because of the pen-like body. I have quite a time with the ones where the brush is in the twist off top. Thanks for the alert that this exists!
Hi Cybele - it is super-easy because of the small shape. I find some of those pen-like ones bang up against the mirror when you're trying to get in really close. :)
tell me about the staying power: does it last all day? or flake/peel off?
