You know that fun quiz, "What superhero are you?" (coincidentally, I'm a Wonder Woman – "a beautiful princess with great strength of character"). Well, today I'm playing that game with beauty products, and if a hand cream were a superhero, its name would be La Mer The Hand Treatment. Its super-power? Creating a magnetic shield around hands – via the electrifying mineral magnetized tourmaline – to soothe, energize and relieve stress. Seriously, I didn't even know this luxe cream had this capability until I tried it, and felt it emanating an energy around my hands, enveloping them in a calming, cocoon-like shield. La Mer's patented "smart seaweeds" and marine-charged waters, plus a silky formulation made my hands feel smoother too. It's also got that unmistakable, perfumey La Mer scent that just makes you feel like an A-lister when you're using it. Since it's La Mer (maker of the venerable, celeb favorite Creme de la Mer), it does have a hefty pricetag, so I'll only turn to this superhero on those days when my hands need some extra lovin'.
