would you wear body splash?

Remember Jean Naté After-Bath Splash? It was that light, florally-citrus, all-over body scent that was so unmistakably 80s. And even though I probably haven't thought of "bath splash" since the big-hair decade – (and I was amazed to know that Revlon still makes it, albeit in a mist version) – I was reminded of this "clean-never-felt-so-fresh" little gem when I noticed that Marc Jacobs has his own line of splashes (they're a little more upscale, of course).

The brand has been creating body splashes for the last couple of years, and this season, they come in refreshing-sounding sorbet scents like basil, grapefruit and pear. While I haven't tried them yet, and have never been known to partake in the "after-bath-splash" phenomenon, I have to admit they look delightfully retro and fun to use (and of course, a great scent choice for summer, when you don't want to drown in a heady cloud of fragrance).
So, what say you? Would you wear a splash?

Yes, but not this one. The bottle is more than $60, which is too much to pay for something with no strength or lasting power, even though you get a ton of it. The freagrances are pleasant but no nicer than Bath & Body Works.

I don't care for heavy fragrance, so I love body splashes. I adored the Marc Jacobs Cucumber splash last year. I had not seen the Grapefruit! I will have to go looking for it to see what it smells like. I am a pretty big grapefruit fan!

My mum adores Marc Jacob's splash in Rain and Cucumber, but apparantly you do need to put a whole load on if you want the scent to stay. Seem's like a lot of money for a perfume you can't smell easily...

I bought Marc Jacobs Cucumber last May, and I still have some left. I get compliments on it everywhere I go and for me it lasts all day. The price is steep...but man it has lasted me so long...and I wear it everyday!

I smelled the Basil, Pear, and Grapefruit scents. They are divine and PERFECT for summer!
