Ziyi Zhang sparkled on the red carpet recently at the amFAR benefit at the Cannes Film Festival. Look closely, and you'll see she's sporting one of the key hair trends for summer: a simple updo featuring a single braid woven into the front of her hair. Paired with a deep side-part, it's one of my favorite hair looks of the moment – no-fuss, but undeniably chic. Her makeup is awash in neutral, shimmery blush tones to complement the soft rose of her gown. And I love that she went with one super-long, blingy earring. A necklace would have been too much with this one-shouldered outfit, but the dangler adds a quirky little touch that doesn't take away from the whole look, but just adds a little extra shine.

She is a natural beauty. Most women wouldn't be able to get away with such a small statement on a red carpet.
