Don't know if you caught the finale of America's Next Top Model (and if you didn't, stop reading now!). I was thoroughly disappointed by the last episode and am thinking of boycotting the next season, if it comes back. Usually, there's at least one girl I'm rooting for at the end, but one of my fave girls, Jenah, was booted and didn't even make it to the top two. And ethereal Heather, the taunted, Asperger's-afflicted beauty, failed to break into the Top 3 (travesty!). Over on Fashionista, speculation runs rampant that the show was rigged in favor of winner Saleisha, who attended Tyra's T-zone camp prior to landing a spot on Top Model.
What do you think? Should Saleisha have won? Or, does it even matter, since none of the winners ever make it far anyway?

Sugar, I HAVE to agree with you on this!!! Saleisha was never my favourite...it was Lisa...when she got sent home, then i didn't really care about who won, but I honestly thought that it would have been Chantal, Jenah and Heather. I thought the top 2 shud've been Jenah and Chantal. AND i mean, they made Jenah break down and then didn't even choose her in the end...gosh...i wanted Chantal to win...Saleisha really isn't my favourite at all...and ur right, what is it that makes them not go all that far? I mean maybe Eva has gone the furthest...but i have heard nothing of the others...
I so completely agree with how anti-climatic the whole thing was. It should have been Jenah or Heather. Saleisha seemed so vanilla. And the fact that she was already in the Tyra Banks world doesn't make the outcome any easier to swallow. You're right though---who really cares? These girls don't go very far post-ANTM so what does it matter. Oh, and it will be back for another "cycle" (I think I saw that it go renewed through 2010) but Twiggy won't be around. And no, Janice won't be back. *pout*
Charlene - you're right, Lisa was a standout for me in the beginning too.
And I hated the way the judges did that whole gang-up thing on Jenah near the end. She probably would have been fine if Tyra hadn't gone all Oprah on her. But, I have to disagree with you about Chantal. she just seemed so cheerleader/pageant-girl to me....
Lydia - I can't believe ANTM is coming back for another season! what's the point, and who will watch it? If they knew better, they would do a World's Next Top Model, pitting all the worldwide winners against eachother. Now that, I would watch!
I'm going to be honest, Saleisha had no competition. None of the girls, except her and Bianca, had true talent. Regardless of what came to light, Saleisha earned her opportunity with the win of ANTM.
