styleshock: megan fox, breakthrough awards

I really want to dislike Megan Fox; I mean, she's quite possibly even more beautiful than Angelina Jolie, whom she's often compared to. And she's got that sort of Maxim-cover model vibe about her – you know, she's a guy's girl versus a girls' girl. But I have to admit, she looked absolutely stunning, in a chic yet understated way, at the Breakthrough Awards in L.A. The girl's an undeniable knockout, which is why I'm glad she did a less-is-more makeup look to really let her naturally flawless features shine. A subtle glimmer of goldish-bronze shadow on the lids, along with lots of lashes, subtly define her baby blue eyes, which are in turn framed by impeccably groomed brows. As for her hair: she could have done the cliche, Victoria's Secret-style, long and tousled hair, but instead, she went for an unexpectedly simple slicked-back ponytail. Her lack of adornment is a statement in itself. And let's face it, the girl doesn't need any more adornment – she's simply stunning as it is.
