She's been somewhat absent from the red-carpet of late lovelies, but Christina Ricci's return was well worth the wait. Here's Miss Ricci working her vixenish magic on the red-carpet at the Louis Vuitton gala honoring the Takashi Murakami exhibit. She's long been a muse of the newly blue-haired (!) Marc Jacobs, artistic director for Vuitton, so it's no surprise she would sashay her way into this soiree (no doubt wearing a Vuitton frock). Ricci's wearing her trademark black, but her newly lightened locks light up the night (and her face), giving her a pretty new look. Not one to run with the pack, Christina reinterprets the bob in her own way by adding a sexy, super-short fringe. Her new bangs beautifully frame those saucer-sized eyes, which in turn are played up by a subtle black cat's eye. Browny-pink lips, along with impeccable skin round out the fresh and natural, but anything but boring, face.

And fret not: You'll still get the same great red-carpet beauty picks, along with SugarShock's dishy play-by-play each week. What do you think of the new name? Let me know in the comments.

I like the name.
Oh, and Christina's new hair, too.
thanks Miss Karen - glad you like it!
Like the new name, not Christina's new look. I liked her better when she was Wednesday Addams, but I'm a goth girl deep down!
