face time well-to-hue

We all know that the smokey eye is all the rage right now, but lovelies, there are some days when I need that extra lift and just can't bear to go to the dark side of shadow. Which is why I usually turn to my tried-and-true shadow routine of ivory over the lid and brown in the crease – a classic look that seems to enliven my eyes and make me look more awake when I'm feeling all zombie-girl-like. For years, I'd been a MAC Shroom devotee - you know, that ever-so-slightly iridescent shade of bone. But recently I've found a delightfully gorgeous oyster shadow that I keep reaching for in my makeup bag: Face Time Cosmetics's Well-to-Hue in Lauren's Loyalty. This is the perfect satin matte off-white (the picture doesn't do it justice - the shade is actually much lighter) that swipes on like a dream. It's talc-free, so it goes on evenly and is gentle enough for sensitive eyes. Plus, it comes in the cutest little hat box-inspired pot that's totally recyclable. I'm hooked.
